Special discount for Professional Accountants of South Asian Region for registering in the World Congress of Accountants (WCOA), 2018 from November 5-8, 2018, Sydney, Australia. The WCOA happens once every four years and in 2018 the global accounting profession is being organised in Sydney. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is one of the founder members of SAFA.

WCOA 2018 is the global accounting conference that will bring the profession together to network, brainstorm and build a road map for the next four years. The four day WCOA conference agenda will cover important themes in the profession: digital disruption, automation, sustainability and ethics, as well as technical topics like global tax, compliance and regulation changes.

This year’s theme is Global Challenges | Global Leaders, and the current speaker line-up includes global thinkers and changemakers Niall Ferguson, Ban Ki Moon, Rachel Botsman and Michael Woodford MBE who will help shape your view on the future of our profession and how accountants should to be prepared.

South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) is an Apex Body of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) and an Acknowledged Accountancy Grouping of IFAC. SAFA comprises of ten accountancy bodies in South-Asian Region namely India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan. Bhutan and Maldives, where no accountancy body exists, has been given an Observer status.
