The Committee for Professional Accountants in Business & Industry (CPABI)) of ICAI organized Women Empowerment Meet on June 2, 2018. The aim of the meet was to make women CA professionals realize their potential & to empower them to face all the challenges in professional sphere, be in Practice or Corporate world. The meet also emphasized on the emerging professional opportunities for women members.

During the event, panel discussion titled “Women Leadership: Driving Change was also organised. The session was moderated by CA. Dhiraj Khandelwal, Chairman CPABI. Other panellists in sessions were CA. Rashmi Joshi, CFO & Whole Time Director, Castrol India Limited, CA. Rupa Vora, Independent Director to JM Finance Asset Reconstruction Co, and CA. Neha Huddar, Vice President Finance, Reliance Industries Limited.
The panel discussions opened up new insights on how women CAs, CFOs are shaping to take up challenging leadership roles. During the session issues concerning work life balance of working women professionals and societal expectations in the Indian cultural milieu were deliberated.
The event saw overhelming participation from 55 women CAs from various organisations.
